Chih-Yu Wang received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and communication engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He has been a visiting student in University of Maryland, College Park in 2011. He joined Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan in 2014. He is currently an Associate Research Fellow / Associate Professor in Research Center for Information Technology Innovation. His research interests include game theory, wireless communications, social networks, and data science.

He was a recipient of the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (吳大猷先生紀念獎) from National Science and Technology Council, Taiwan in 2022, the Young Scholars’ Creativity Award (年輕學者創新獎) from Foundation for the Advancement of Outstanding Scholarship in 2021, the Exploration Research Award 2021 from the Pan Wen-Yuan Foundation in 2021, the K. T. Li Young Researcher Award (李國鼎青年研究獎) from ACM Taipei/Taiwan Chapter and The Institute of Information and Computing Machinery in 2019, Ministry of Science and Technology Research Project for Excellent Young Scholars (科技部優秀年輕學者計畫) in 2019 and 2022. His works were featured in 2018 and 2019 Significant Research Achievements of Academia Sinica.
