This talk presents how to build a solid logic for a technical paper in a step-by-step manner. As a logic building tool, a three-point analysis is introduced to clarify the value, the trick, and the problem solved by the research. The value is the achievement and something first in the world. The trick is a means to solve the problem and is the novelty. Based on the results of the three-point analysis, slides for presenting the paper are prepared before the manuscript. Because slides are simple and easy to read, they help the author build a solid logic for the paper, which makes the reviewers understand the point of the paper easily and clearly, leading to a higher review score. The manuscript is drafted by filling the gaps between the lines in the slides. A good paper title is designed straightforward from the value and the trick. This paper title forms the body of the topic sentence in the abstract. An example is included to help the audience understand the method with more confidence.
