Abstract
With the development of 6G, feature networks will become programmable, including software-defined networking and programmable switches. The programmable networking allows us to realize in-network security protection. For example, we can run a light weight AI model in a switch to detect malicious traffic in a network and utilize software-defined networking to block the traffic. In this way, the traffic can be checked and kept in the shortest path instead of being redirected to security components such as IPS devices. Besides, when detecting malicious traffic, a switch is able to block it quickly to make 6G networks safe and fast.
